The resident coach is Paul Casey of Casey Tennis 2000, who was voted the Tennis Ireland Coaching Association's (TICA) Coach of the Year in 2008. Paul runs coaching programs for all standards three times a year - usually 10-12 weeks in the Autumn term, 10-12 weeks in the Spring term and 8-10 weeks in the Summer term. There is also mini-tennis coaching for 5-8 year olds.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS

To assist us in the administration of the Junior Coaching Programme, we would appreciate your co-operation in the following matters:

1. In order to comply with best practice in Child Protection, it is necessary to have a "Parent on Duty" for every coaching session. This will require each child's parent to be available for approximately one lesson per term. If there is no parent on duty, COACHING MAY BE CANCELLED for the whole class! Click here to see the Parental Supervision Rota for the 2011 Winter Term (January-April). Password was texted to all members. If you don't have it, email coaching@glenagearyltc.ie.
2. Please pay coaching fees by date specified on form.
3. It is essential that you advise us ASAP if your child is changing classes, new to coaching or not returning to coaching.
4. If you need to speak to a coach please arrange a suitable time with the coach in order to avoid disruption of classes.
5. Occasionally coaching classes have to be cancelled due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances - please ensure that the class is on before you leave your child at the club.
6. Please ensure that children are collected on time as the club/coaches cannot be responsible for them after classes are finished.
