Well done to the U17 Boys who were runners-up in Class 2 of the DLTC Junior League.

Michael, Caolan, Theo and Conor played great tennis over the past 8 weeks.  They lost eventually to Sutton, the doubles lost 7-6 in the final set – so close and yet so far.  This is a step further as they got to the semi finals last year.  The team got promoted to Class 1 in the Under 17 Boys league and this is a fantastic achievement for them.  They should also be congratulated on their excellent behaviour on and off the court during the course of this league and their extra commitment to practising these past few Saturdays also.  They are a great set of lads and a credit to Glenageary.

I really enjoyed these past few weeks with them and wish them all the best.  Michael and Caolan are no longer eligible for the Junior Leagues but have given great service to the club.
